In case you want to resell our proxies without making DataImpulse’s host visible, you can use your domain instead. In this tutorial, we describe the process of setting up your domain for reselling.

Configuring our Open API to work with your domain won’t take you much time or require additional equipment.

  1. Purchase a domain from a reliable registrar. GoDaddy, Google Domains, Namecheap, or are trustworthy options to choose from.
  2. Now you need to navigate to the DNS settings. You can do it either via your domain registrar or DNS provider. Every entity will have its own terminology and names; however, in every case, you need to look for features to administer a DNS zone or DNS records.
  3. Once you locate DNS records for your domain, you need to whether create a new “Address” record or edit existing one. If you modify the existing record, replace the current IP address with DataImpulse’s IP, If you create a new record, set as the IP your domain should point to. If you want to resell proxies via subdomain, you need to create a new record for it.
  4. Save the changes. Pay attention to the fact that DNS changes need some time to spread across the Internet. Usually, it takes several minutes to several hours. Once everything is settled, you can start reselling DataImpulse’s proxies via your domain.
