DataImpulse has a zero-tolerance policy for misuse of its network. If you believe our proxies are being used to harm your website, your business or you personally, let us know. Every report is reviewed by our Compliance team, and confirmed violations lead to action, from a warning to permanent account termination.

Three steps from report to resolution

We keep the process simple for you and uncomfortable for abusers. Here is what happens after you click “Submit”.

  1. You submit a report

Use the form below or email [email protected]. Include the IP addresses, timestamps and evidence you have. More detail means a faster match in our logs.

  2. We investigate

Compliance specialists cross-check your evidence against network logs to identify the account behind the traffic. You receive an acknowledgement within one business day.

  3. We take action

Confirmed violations result in a warning, traffic restrictions, suspension or permanent termination of the account. Where the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement.

What we consider abuse

Our Terms of Service prohibit any activity that is illegal or harms third parties. The categories below cover most of the reports we receive.

  • Unauthorized access

Hacking attempts, brute-force or credential-stuffing attacks, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or scanning systems without permission.

  • Disruptive traffic

DDoS attacks, request flooding or any traffic intended to degrade, overload or take a service offline.

  • Fraud and payment abuse

Carding, chargeback fraud, fake account creation, promo abuse, ad fraud and automated purchases that violate a seller’s rules.

  • Spam and phishing

Unsolicited bulk messaging, fake login pages, distribution of malware or links to malicious resources.

  • Intellectual property infringement

Distribution of pirated content, sale of counterfeit goods, brand impersonation and other copyright or trademark violations.

  • Harassment and illegal content

Threats, stalking, extremist content, child sexual abuse material or any material prohibited by applicable law.

  • Privacy violations

Collecting, selling or exposing personal data in violation of GDPR, CCPA or other data-protection laws.

  • Other policy violations

Any use that breaches our Terms of Service, even if it does not fit one of the categories above.

Not sure whether it qualifies?

Report it anyway. We would rather review one report too many than miss a real case.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will I hear back?

We acknowledge every report within one business day. Most investigations are completed within three business days. Complex cases involving several accounts may take longer, and we will keep you informed along the way.

Will you tell me what action you took?

We confirm whether the report was substantiated and that appropriate action was taken. For privacy and legal reasons we cannot share details about the customer behind the traffic.

I don’t have the IP addresses. Can I still report?

Yes. Submit whatever you have: the affected domain, timestamps, user-agent strings or request patterns. Matching the traffic may take us longer, but we will still investigate.

Can I report anonymously?

You may leave the company field empty, but we need a working email address to ask follow-up questions and share the outcome. Your details are never passed to the account under investigation.

I’m a DataImpulse customer and received an abuse notice. What should I do?

Reply to the notice within 48 hours with an explanation and the steps you have taken to stop the activity. Ignoring a notice results in suspension. If you believe the notice was sent by mistake, tell us. We review every response, and you can always reach [email protected]
