Best Proxies for the Netherlands 2026 - DataImpulse banner cover

For a Netherlands proxy shortlist, consider DataImpulse for pay-as-you-go buying, Decodo for comparing subscription and PAYG options, and IPRoyal for another small-purchase option. The Dutch proxy table below compares seven suppliers by price, billing unit, purchase commitment, proxy type and Netherlands targeting.

Our residential service is our own product, and this is our comparison, not an independent ranking. A Dutch exit IP changes the network location a website sees; language, cookies, account settings and delivery address can also affect localized results.

Key Facts

  • Our residential service costs $1/GB pay-as-you-go, with country targeting included.
  • New customers can start with a one-time $5 Intro plan containing 5 GB.
  • Regular residential state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting counts traffic at 2x.
  • Our sticky sessions average approximately 30 minutes and can last up to 120 minutes.
  • The November 6, 2026 Netherlands snapshot recorded 300 successful residential requests out of 300.
  • The same snapshot recorded a residential median request time of 0.52 seconds.
  • A separate exit check classified 29 of 29 residential observations as Netherlands in ipinfo.

How we compared Netherlands proxy options

We compared published commercial terms and targeting documentation, checking official sources on November 6, 2026. Competitor services were not performance-tested for this article.

We use a 4-step selection check: compare the minimum purchase, renewal terms, Netherlands targeting and session limits, then measure cost per usable result on your target.

  • Billing: distinguish prepaid traffic, monthly subscriptions and per-IP plans.
  • Location: confirm Netherlands selection for the exact product, then check whether finer filters apply locally.
  • Sessions: decide whether independent requests or a continuous workflow matter more.
  • Workload: evaluate usable responses, bandwidth and integration effort on an authorized target.

Also inspect sourcing disclosures, acceptable-use terms and data-handling documentation. These are purchasing criteria, not a compliance endorsement. Global pool totals do not establish how many Dutch exits are available at a particular moment.

Which Netherlands proxy options belong on your shortlist?

The seven options below cover different purchasing models rather than a single performance ladder. Prices describe the named plans; a subscription fee, a traffic rate and a per-IP charge are different units.

Supplier and product Price and billing Netherlands targeting and purchase notes

PAYG traffic does not expire under standard conditions; account-specific balance activity requirements may apply. Subscriptions are another purchasing option. Pricing and targeting; Dutch coverage; Traffic validity.
SOAX residential Builder costs $200/month plus VAT and includes 200 credits. Netherlands Tier 1 traffic is charged against the balance at $3/GB. Country, region, city and ISP filters on Builder. Credit-based billing; monthly plan price is not a bandwidth quantity. Plan terms; Dutch tier and usage rate.
Webshare Proxy Server 100 proxies for $2.99 billed monthly (as of November 2026) Datacenter plan with country selection; Netherlands listed. Confirm the Dutch allocation in the plan selector. This is not residential traffic pricing. Proxy Server pricing; Dutch availability; Location selection.

Subscription entries show recurring monthly charges, while PAYG entries describe traffic purchases. Before paying, confirm taxes, renewal amounts, cancellation timing and whether any discount continues into subsequent purchases.

Seven Netherlands proxy picks: how to choose between them

Choose the purchasing model that matches your workload before choosing a supplier. These short reviews explain how to evaluate each table entry without treating vendor claims as measured outcomes.

Our residential service

Our residential service offers traffic that does not expire and a global pool of 90M+ IPs across 195+ countries; those global figures are not Dutch inventory counts. We support HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5 and username:password authentication or IP whitelisting. This is a proxy service, not a scraping API, managed unblocker or VPN. It suits teams that already manage their HTTP client, browser automation and parsing.

Bright Data

Promotional PAYG: $4/GB with coupon RESIGB50; regular price $8/GB. Confirm eligibility and promotion duration at checkout. PAYG has no monthly commitment and includes country and city targeting. Bright Data lists separate Netherlands residential and ISP products. It suits teams buying country- or city-targeted residential traffic without a monthly commitment, with a separate ISP option for static-IP workflows.

Oxylabs

Starter costs $15/month and funds a credit balance; residential traffic draws it down at $6/GB. VAT may apply; unused credits expire at the end of the billing cycle unless carried over as part of an upgrade. Netherlands targeting supports country and city selection; state and ZIP filters are US-only. It suits teams with recurring monthly traffic that need Dutch country or city selection.

Decodo

PAYG: $4/GB plus VAT. Subscription: 3 GB for $11.25/month plus VAT ($3.75/GB). Country and city targeting are included, and Netherlands coverage is listed. It suits teams choosing between occasional traffic purchases and a small recurring monthly allowance.

IPRoyal

IPRoyal offers a 1 GB PAYG purchase for $7.35, with city targeting available. Purchased traffic does not expire under standard conditions, although account-specific balance activity requirements may apply. Netherlands coverage is listed. It suits teams buying a small traffic balance for intermittent Dutch collection.

SOAX

Builder costs $200/month plus VAT and includes 200 credits. Netherlands Tier 1 traffic is charged against the balance at $3/GB. Builder includes country, region, city and ISP filters. It suits teams with a recurring monthly budget that need these location and network filters.

Webshare

Webshare’s Proxy Server plan offers 100 proxies for $2.99 billed monthly. Its Netherlands offering includes datacenter proxies. Proxy Server plans offer country selection rather than city or state filtering, with available allocations shown in the plan selector. It suits teams whose workloads accept datacenter exits and whose purchasing model favors a monthly proxy count.

How we tested Netherlands exits

Our November 6, 2026 Netherlands measurement is a one-day infrastructure snapshot, not a marketplace benchmark. Both residential and datacenter runs completed all 300 requests successfully.

From a server in Europe, we sent 300 requests per proxy type to the same 9 KB static file on cdnjs using Python requests 2.31.0, 10 parallel workers, rotating IPs and Netherlands country targeting. Success required HTTP 200 plus the full file; timing covered the complete request. The country-test window was 13:08-13:15 UTC.

Netherlands exit type Successful requests Median p95 Separate ipinfo country observations
Residential 300/300 0.52 s 6.19 s 29/29 Netherlands
Datacenter 300/300 1.40 s 1.90 s 30/30 Netherlands

Source: our Netherlands country measurement, November 6, 2026. Country observations came from additional requests, not a second geolocation database. The record does not establish unique-IP counts, billed traffic or a timeout/retry policy. Mobile was not tested. These results cannot predict bol, Coolblue or Amazon.nl outcomes or establish superiority over another supplier.

Residential, datacenter, mobile or static ISP for the Netherlands?

Match the proxy type to the network context and continuity your task requires. Residential is worth evaluating for household-network observations; datacenter can also work when your target and workload permit it.

  • Use residential when consumer-network exits are relevant. Avoid residential when your requirement is a permanently assigned address.
  • Use datacenter when an authorized target accepts it and its economics fit. Avoid datacenter when the experiment specifically requires household or cellular networks.
  • Use mobile when cellular-network context is part of the test. Avoid mobile when you only need a mobile viewport; browser layout and exit-network type are separate variables.
  • Use static ISP when continuity requires an assigned IP across sessions. For independent requests, compare a rotating service with rotation across a pool of static ISP addresses; choose based on pool size, cost and session requirements.

DataImpulse does not sell ISP/static residential proxies. Readers needing static IPs should evaluate suppliers selling that product, such as Bright Data, whose Dutch ISP offering is linked in the comparison.

Our mobile product costs $2/GB and has a global pool of 16M+ IPs, with no carrier/operator selection. Our datacenter rate is $0.50/GB. Neither price establishes suitability for a particular Dutch website.

Sticky sessions attempt to retain an exit for a session, subject to availability and limits. Our sticky sessions average approximately 30 minutes and can last up to 120 minutes; they are not static or dedicated IPs. Rotate for independent requests and keep a session for connected steps. See static versus rotating proxies.

What changes your Netherlands proxy bill?

Traffic volume, purchase commitment and targeting granularity change the bill. For our regular residential product, country selection is free, while state, city, ZIP and ASN filters count traffic at double the normal amount.

Product Country State/region City ZIP ASN
DataImpulse residential Free 2x traffic 2x 2x 2x
DataImpulse Premium residential All included, $5/GB All included All included All included All included

On regular residential, 1 GB of city- or ASN-targeted traffic deducts 2 GB from your balance. Premium residential costs $5/GB with all targeting included. Check available Dutch filters before designing a city-specific job.

Budget for transferred content and retries, then divide total spending by usable records. Include browser assets when your workflow downloads them. A managed API requires a separate calculation because its billing may be based on requests or results rather than raw proxy traffic. See the Premium and regular residential comparison.

Why are free Netherlands proxy lists unreliable?

Free Netherlands proxy lists can contain stale addresses and unknown operators, and a working connection does not establish safe handling of traffic. Protocol labels and country labels need checking before use.

The 2018 open-proxy study documented poor availability, content manipulation and TLS interception attempts. It is historical research, not a measurement of current Dutch proxy lists or current Netherlands risk levels.

What changes when you pay for a Netherlands proxy

Before using any proxy: identify its operator, check when the endpoint was last validated, and test it with non-sensitive traffic. Confirm the exit IP, country classification, protocol behavior, certificate validation and response integrity against a controlled endpoint.

Repeat the check over time: a single success says little about freshness. A list’s HTTPS label may describe support for tunneling HTTPS destinations rather than encryption of the connection to the proxy itself. Keep certificate verification enabled and do not install an unknown root certificate to make a test pass.

Reject unexpected response changes or certificate errors. Even a clean test cannot establish an unknown operator’s logging practices. Avoid sending account credentials, personal information or confidential material through an unidentified service.

Configure and verify a Dutch proxy before collection

Set Netherlands targeting in the supplier’s endpoint generator, then verify the exit from the same client that will run the job. A gateway hostname alone does not identify the final exit country.

Step 1: Choose the product, country, authentication method and rotating or sticky behavior. Copy the generated settings into your application and keep secrets out of logs.

Step 2: Compare a direct request with a proxied request to a trusted IP-check endpoint. Confirm that the observed source address changes and inspect its country classification. Repeat with the actual browser or HTTP client.

Step 3: Record the exit IP returned by the first check, then look up that exact address in a second geolocation database. A new request through a rotating proxy may use a different exit. Oxylabs location documentation explains that databases can disagree. A Netherlands result in one database does not establish how your target classifies the address.

Step 4: Test a controlled response and an authorized target. Validate content, not just HTTP status, and record timing, failures, traffic and session changes.

Leak-check limit: An IP-check request verifies that connection only. Inspect browser WebRTC behavior, DNS resolution, bypass rules and background requests separately. For SOCKS, local versus proxy-side DNS resolution depends on client configuration; the curl manual documents the distinction. Our proxy checker guide covers further validation steps.

Dutch use cases: what should you measure?

Use Dutch exits to investigate location-dependent behavior while controlling other variables. bol, Coolblue and Amazon.nl are examples for localized price observations, not evidence that Dutch IPs are required to see euro prices.

Record the URL, timestamp, exit country, language, delivery postcode and account state alongside each observation. Keep those settings consistent when comparing offers. Distinguish advertised prices from delivery charges and account-specific promotions.

For search or advertising checks, record query, device settings and location assumptions. Start with a small authorized sample and define what counts as usable data before scaling. A proxy changes routing; it does not automatically render JavaScript, parse pages or prevent blocking.

What legal questions apply to collection in the Netherlands?

A Dutch IP does not determine whether a collection project is lawful. Review the data, purpose, access conditions and intended reuse before starting.

The European Commission’s guidance on legal grounds explains the need for a lawful basis when processing personal data. Also assess applicable contractual and intellectual-property restrictions. For the longer discussion, read is web scraping legal?

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy a Netherlands residential proxy?

Use the official residential product pages linked in the comparison and select Netherlands in the configuration. Match the purchase to your expected traffic, targeting and session requirements before paying.

Does a Dutch IP guarantee Dutch-language pages or euro prices?

No. Websites can use language preferences, cookies, account settings and delivery information alongside network location, so keep those variables controlled.

Is residential always better than datacenter for Dutch websites?

No universal ordering applies. Compare usable responses and total cost on your authorized workload, using the same client settings and content checks.

Can I keep the same Dutch IP indefinitely with a sticky session?

Do not plan around indefinite retention. A sticky session depends on availability and session limits; a long-term address requirement calls for a separate static-IP evaluation.

Does a Netherlands IP-check result prove there are no leaks?

It confirms the route used by that particular request. Browser networking, DNS handling and applications outside the proxy configuration need separate inspection.

Can I choose a specific Dutch mobile operator with your service?

Our mobile service has no carrier/operator selector. If operator-specific testing is essential, make that a purchasing requirement and verify the actual exit network.

Do the Netherlands measurements predict marketplace success?

No. The measurement used a small static CDN file, so it describes that route and endpoint during the observation window rather than marketplace access or extraction quality.
